**Steps in the Firearm License Process:**
The general steps to follow for obtaining a firearm license are listed below:
1. **Eligibility:** Being legally qualified and meeting the conditions specified in the relevant legal articles for obtaining the license. Review the relevant legal articles and take the necessary steps.
2. **Required Documents:** Prepare the documents required based on the legal article under which the firearm license is being applied. These documents include a medical board report from a full-fledged state hospital, identification, a certificate showing no criminal record, a tax debt clearance document, and other required paperwork.
3. **Application:** Submit the required documents to the Firearm License Branches at the Provincial Police Department or Provincial Gendarmerie Command in the city where your Mernis address is located, or to the Firearm License Office Chiefs at the District Police Departments if the delegation of authority has been made by the Governorship. The application is initiated in person by creating an application file.
4. **Appointment:** Due to the high volume of applications at the Firearm License Branches and Offices, appointments must be made through the e-Government portal on specific days or times.
5. **Process:** Once the license application is received, the completeness of the documents is checked. Investigations are written to the relevant units.

**CARRYING LICENSE**
Who is eligible for a Carrying License? Public officials, retired public officials, and certain professional groups (jewelers, lawyers, contractors, company owners who meet conditions, etc.) can obtain a carrying license if they meet the legal requirements. These professionals must submit documents proving their employment status. This process typically takes between 2 to 6 months.
**FIREARM POSSESSION AND CARRYING LICENSE FEES**
Firearm carrying and possession license fees are determined annually by the JGK and EGM's reevaluation and the approval of the Ministry of Interior or directly by the Ministry of Interior.
